These Live Edge Coffee Table are handmade using Maple Burl for the top with a black Ecopoxy resin. The steel base is a modern thin steel custom base finished with a matte black powder coat.

PROCESS //
These pieces undergo a 4 layer satin hardwax finish (OSMO Polyx) this helps protect from any spills or stains or sun fade and will keep the overall beauty of the wood.
Dimensions on this table are 33"Lx28"Wx18"T - custom made pieces will be roughly the same unless otherwise noted.
I use epoxy to fill voids and cracks to prevent cracks from growing and to stabilize the wood. The resin I use is Ecopoxy Liquid Plastic, this is an all natural non toxic product made in Canada using soybeans. It will not distort with ages a tough water resistant finish.
Top is made from 2 pieces of amazing Canadian Maple Burl with tons of curling and figure.
Base is made from steel that has been welded and then powder coated matte black for a durable finish.
All Slabs are Kiln or air dried to single digit moisture levels to create long lasting quality slabs of the finest hardwoods. Hardwoods are locally sourced.

Free Shipping in Canada & Lower 48 States. Built to order to accommodate custom sizes and variations. Lead times depend on how many orders we have already scheduled. Normal lead time is between 8-14 weeks on all custom projects. No returns or refunds since it is a custom built commission.
