"Sugar Shack" was a piece I was working on in my studio when a home stager came by for a visit. She fell in love with this piece for a project she was staging located on Lake Michigan. The new home owner wanted "Mid Century Modern" meets "Malibu" for this beautifully refurbished home on Lake Michigan. The stager invited me to the home to see the renovation and when I learned that the previous home owner was a dentist who practiced from his basement, I decided to name the piece "Sugar Shack"
