Shane first noticed the abandoned van parked in front of the remains of what was once a smog shop off Clark Road while driving through the area on the way to his other projects in Paradise. He studied it while taking his lunch break across the street, and he knew. This would be the perfect place for his next piece. Shane met a local who was able to connect him with the owner of the vehicle who granted him permission to use the van to create his piece–a woman painted in dramatic black and white, gazing upward, evoking a resonant sense of hope, loose strands of hair flowing around her.
