For nearly a decade Ruskidd has been based in the Melbourne street art scene, solidifying himself as an established artist. Ruskidd’s practice reflects an interest in capturing the natural world in vibrant colour, playing off elements of kinetic energy and organic pattern work. Woven through an abstract style lies a fascination with emulating movement and life in the artwork. By connecting his art to earthly elements and utilising subtle repetitions found in flora and fauna, it becomes similar to a living organism.
