Last week in Oakland, CA this message of hope and inspiration was painted on the side of this 7-story Storquest facility. It serves as a reminder to take action and do our part in healing our planet.
This mural gives our planet a voice and she says, “Love Me Before I’m Gone.” Many of us will not be around to see the aftermath if we continue our path of abusing her, but our children and their children will be! What can we do now to impact their future?
It’s easy to dismiss the little things as trivial but they do add up. The Earth’s current population is ~7.8 Billion people. If each of us made small changes — even one — together, we could create a meaningful impact.
Change just one of these small habits for starters: take shorter showers, walk more & drive less, eat less meat, use reusable bottles for your water and coffee. Join me in committing to one of these or another small change!
The change will come when we take responsibility for our actions when each individual chooses to make their difference in the world. The sum of those choices will shift humanity as a whole and help us heal our planet.
