A spray painted and acrylic brush painted mural meant to add beauty and life to downtown Great Falls Montana. This mural was painted to add a surface to a historic building that had three floors on the inside burn to the ground. While decisions were being made on what to do with the building by the city officials, artists painted many murals using a bird theme to add beauty to the downtown. The peacock is a symbol of regeneration and resurrection and therefore I felt it a perfect bird to use. A lover of surreal transitions, I turned the tail into a wave were a surfer is seen finding flow in the wild ride life sometimes gives us as in this beautiful building burning down with hopes of a new purpose.
