In lak'ech (I am another yourself) found on 23rd Street, Mission District was designed and directed by Marta Ayala with guest muralist, Catalina Gonzalez, in 1998. It aims to provide a window into the harmony of the universe and to be a symbol of forest preservation. Seen here are the sleeping mountain, 20 Mayan sprockets, a desert, caves, a lake, and a waterfall, all about the beautiful nature. The mural is dedicated to the community, serves as a seed of harmony, joy, and peace.
