This gray serving bowl is great for serving salads, side dishes and more. The bowl was formed from a slab of gray stoneware clay, which was folded to form its shape. Later I carved the bird in sgraffito* technique.

The stoneware serving bowl makes a unique salad serving bowl for a rustic dining table.

DETAILS:
Hand formed from a clay slab
Non-toxic, matte cream glaze
Fired in the kiln at 1200 degrees Celsius
Length: 10.62" // 18 cm
Width: 6.29" // 16 cm
Height: 7.08" // 9 cm
Volume 950 ml

*sgraffito: a form of decoration made by scratching through a surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting color, typically done in plaster or stucco on walls, or in slip on ceramics before firing.

Materials: gray stoneware, matte cream glaze, black slip.
