“I like to create compositions that are improbable and metaphorical, where parts that interact express a concept. In this case, the relationship is between a natural element and an artificial one: the first represents nature and the latter the man in his more rational attitude. A structure made of chairs balanced on the back of a white rhino, momentarily peaceful, is the metaphor of the precariousness of human works in comparison to the power of nature. It expresses a silly dynamic, not optimized nor thought out.
If nature ‘moves’ our ‘structures’, also mental, fall".
