Dolce Gaia - Public Sculptures

Dolce Gaia is a two part sculpture integrated into a new landscape design for a residence in Medicine Lake, MN. As a collaboration with Molly Barrett, we worked closely with the clients to create a central piece of stainless steel and natural granite in the midst of natural Minnesota greenery. The design process involved several rounds and at least two different models to come up with the ultimate piece. The second part of the sculpture also included stainless steel and stone, but had an additional functional requirement: A railing. The following summer we were engaged to create a complimentary water feature titled Agua Dolce. We can’t say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with this wonderful couple.
