Reclining female figure inspired by Greek mythology suspended in thought on an architectonic angular platform to juxtapose and contrast the gracefully flowing lines of the figure against the sharp planes of an open framework stage. The word museum comes from the Greek word meaning the home of the muses so designing the support makes a symbolic reference to a home for Calliope.
