In Sanskrit, Ananda, means Bliss. Here is portrayed a female who is both centered and grounded as she stands in the Mermaid variation of the Dancer’s Pose. Yoga poses intrigue and inspire me because they create an image with very dramatic lines that evoke arresting visual interest. There is an intriguing tension between the reach of her left hand into the sky while the left foot is firmly planted on the earth, added to that is the the loop created by right hand grasping the right foot behind her.
W/ Steel base: 71inH x 23inW x 18inD

Meet the Creator

Figurative bronze sculptures that, at first glance, capture your attention!

In my sculptures, what both intrigues and excites me is to successfully create an image that, at first glance, grabs the viewer’s attention. Figurative sculpture is something that nearly everyone can relate to. With 3-D art, it is particularly satisfying for me to succeed in capturing your interest from all sides of the piece! My mission is this:
“While rendering the individual, I attempt to express the UNIVERSAL; while capturing a moment, to convey the TIMELESS.”
