Charles Perry's "Icosaspirale" can be found at One Maritime Plaza in San Francisco. This fascinating sculpture is typical of his work,
pondering the wonderful mysteries of the universe, celebrating and questioning the laws of nature.
It is constructed of bronze rods brazed together into triangular sections. Those sections were assembled into an Icosahedron shape. Note that each triangle that makes up the Icosahedron is itself a spiral, hence the name “Icosaspirale."
