Sculptures by Andrew Werby, as seen in Berkeley Bowl Marketplace, Berkeley, CA
Item Details
This is a 3-panel relief sculpture realized from Werby's imagination, custom medium, and organic objects. Using Sculpted Paint, a composite medium Werby invented, he took life-castings of various edible natural forms: a banana tree section, "dinosaur" kale, and mixed gourds. After the cast was created they took shape and color before moving to their permanent home. You can see them at the famous Berkely Bowl Marketplace in the Northeast facing windows on Shattuck St.
