Name: Benny

Size: 3.10 x 11.3

Age: Antique

Pile: Low

About: Never again will we come across something SO unusual. The intricate and symbolic design of the field is so charming as it's filled with nomadic animal motifs and tribal "boteh" motifs. The geometric zig-zag design in the border layered with the iconic "fence" design in the outer border is truly special. The fence is woven in the rug to protect the rug from negativity - similar to the Turkish Evil eye as it wards off the unwanted. Deep earthy charcoal, various shades of browns, tangerine, teals, beige, deep blue and even abrash with deep purple hues find their way in this piece somehow. All-natural wool pile with wool foundation speaking to its nomadic charm and the nice corse knots add depth and texture to this piece. This is a very earthy and rugged piece that is both playful and beautiful. VERY attractive and unique piece!

This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one available.

Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.

Antique and Vintage rugs for people with a good eye and an old soul!

The Loom House is a company founded by Hemad Fadaifar, a world traveler, entrepreneur, and rug enthusiast as his family has been in the rug business for as long as he can remember; and Barbie Marquette, a designer, and stylist, but mainly a professional photographer specializing in newborn babies, where her work exemplifies the art of capturing soul and purity at it's finest. Together, their shared love for art, design, and story-rich objects have formed into the company that curates, styles, and offers some of the world's most beautiful selection of vintage and antique rugs. These pieces not only have a story to tell but depicts and honors arguably the world's most labor-intensive art, rug weaving.
