The time of blossom
This is a picturesque rug with a pattern reminiscent of the antique terrazzo floor covering - a mosaic of naturally shaped stones fixed by mortar. The color scheme is based on the combination of gentle colors of powdery rose and silvery-green shades, with plain gray being the background. Exquisite shades gain depth due to the complex structure of color composed of several closely related shades, which is characteristic of Impressionist painting.
Hand-knotting as a timeless value
The rug is hand woven in a traditional manufacture in Nepal. The technology of rug weaving and knotting as it has existed for centuries gets a new reading in the interpretation of modern European designers who use modern images and ideas for interiors. Natural quality materials, New Zealand wool and silk, historically used in rug weaving, became an attribute of high-class interiors in the 21st century.
