My work is unique because I sculpt what I have imagined and after thinking about it for some time, then I decide to make it visible.

Xhanti Mpakama, a South African, born in the Western Cape at small town called Willowvale not too far from where Nelson Mandela was born. My art is inspired by my locals, the way they dress especially women. Their long dresses that flow as they walk around made me want to capture those lines, the apealing image that occupy my imagination until I make a sculpture . I'm now staying in the Western Cape, in Strand .
