"Over the years I have successfully completed several major public art projects. These have called upon my expertise in construction and design work, along with my ability to negotiate and consult with architects, engineers and landscape architects. Several of these projects have required artworks to be reflective of the area, incorporating historical, cultural and/or environmental factors, and have been designed in consultation with landscape architects and clients.
My artwork is designed to be innovative. I use metals that are easily worked and are made with longevity as a prime concern. The process of developing ideas, which incorporate metal and the combination of different metals, produces sculptures that are innovative and unique. They have distinctive colour and surface textures that reflect the luster of the materials. I feel that my skill to interpret and accurately reflect community beliefs, ideals and concerns ensures the sculptural artworks are relevant to the landscape that they inhabit.
I have been involved in community artworks with local
councils such as Joondalup, Kwinana and Cottesloe.
Major commissions have been fulfilled for Department of Housing and Works,
Ministry of Justice, Main Roads, LandCorp, Department of Education, Urban Pacific, Cedar Woods, Peet,"
