Meet the Creator

Originally from Davis, CA I spent several years living in San Francisco as an art student at the Academy of Art College (now University). During art school I focused on life drawing, painting, sculpture, human anatomy, composition as well as art history and animation. This early and thorough training, combined with my competitive nature, has allowed me to successfully pursue sculpture and to use my artistic gifts to honor people and ideas that I consider “larger than life”.

Since 2008 I have maintained a working sculpture studio in the arts community of Loveland, Colorado. I have permanently installed large scale monuments in many states and my sculptures are sought after for their life-like, artistic qualities.

Recently, I designed an 11 foot wide relief bronze and granite monument honoring the McPherson Globe Refiners, the first basketball team to win Gold in the Olympics (Berlin,1936) for the City of McPherson, Kansas. The curved relief, almost completed, will be the first of its kind serving as an important work of art in basketball and Olympic history. Text and images will be laser etched on 200 square feet of black granite walls.

Since 2017, I have created close to 40 bronze portrait plaques for public and private sectors. Some of the more prominent portrait plaques I have created are located at NASA’s Stennis Space Center, Michigan State University and the US Navy Base in Guam.
