Outdoor bronze sculptures honoring members of the military, historical and sports figures

Originally from Davis, CA I spent several years living in San Francisco as an art student at the Academy of Art College (now University). During art school I focused on developing an understanding of the human body through life drawing, painting, sculpture, human anatomy, composition as well as an appreciation for art history and animation. The training and skills I developed as a student of art was instrumental in taking the next step working as a sculptors assistant for professional sculptors in California and Colorado before I was able to establish my own working studio.

Since 2008 I have maintained a working sculpture studio in the vibrant arts community of Loveland, Colorado creating bronze sculptures that honor "larger than life" subjects. I have over fifty outdoor bronze monuments permanently installed throughout the contiguous US. The sculptures I create honor the military, historical figures and athletes.

Recently, I installed an 11 foot wide bronze relief with laser etched black granite to honor and remember the McPherson Globe Refiners, the first basketball team to win Gold in the Olympics (Berlin, 1936). The sculpture is permanently installed at the McPherson Community Building in the City of McPherson, Kansas. The curved relief serves as an important work of art in basketball and Olympic history.
