Item details

Set of three free-standing sculptures, 6, 10, and 14 feet high with a maximum diameter of 30 inches. Here, Zolin's gestural language melds organic and geometric gestures in an attempt to render the invisible whirling machinery of the Universe. The title is a simple way to explain the varying heights, which was the client's request.

Meet the Creator
I bend space for a living.

“I treat my artistic process like a living thing, sometimes pruning or directing it, other times letting it go where it wants to go. My love of gestural mark-making has led from figure drawing to cityscapes to abstract sculpture and back again with many stops and detours.”

Born in 1972 and raised in NJ, Zolin earned his BFA cum laud at Washington University in 1994 and won an MFA Fellowship at Florida State University, graduating in 2005. Between degrees he spent nine years enmeshed in Santa Fe’s art scene. He now resides in Manhattan where he exhibits regularly.
