inHarlem is a beautiful installation of three imba yokubikira, or kitchen house found in rural areas of Zimbabwe. Simone Leigh, a talented sculptor, installed them into the landscape of and Marcus Garvey Park, and is meant to evoke the “experience of living outside the place considered home.”
