Public Sculptures by Oliver Barratt seen at Liverpool Waterfront - Skyline

Skyline

Five meters of steel lines swoop up, down and around with vibrations of energy, lending itself to viewers in Liverpool. Created in 2008, this large-scale, interlacing blue sculpture mimics where the sky meets the earth. Made out of rounded lines of steel, it intertwines the temporal and spatial aspects around it. Lit from underneath at night, it has an eerie, sci-fi sense about it, which invites the viewer for a closer look at its inner intricacies.
