“Top Dog” is a painted steel sculpture that is a combination of a railroad worker, a locomotive and a ‘folk art/Americana style’ dog . It is mounted on top of a cast cement and painted steel ‘linkage arm’ like the type used by locomotives to keep the large drive wheels in sync. It is an homage to the railroads and the people who built and operated them and the modern tenants who love their pets.
