Mayerthorpe - Fallen Four Memorial - Four 7 ft - 6 in, bronze statues honors the lives of the 4 RCMP officers killed in the Mayerthorpe tragedy and recognizes the risks all police officers face in service to their community. The RCMP officers stand in the four positions of readiness around a 25' tall obelisk, the centerpiece of the Mayerthorpe Fallen Four Memorial Park. This is a place for reflection and gathering to pay tribute to all police officers. Dedicated July 4, 2008
