The inspiration behind the name comes from the fortitude and attitude of Lauren’s favorite protagonist, Scout Finch, from the Harper Lee classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Scout’s personality parallels the unique, thoughtful, and playful spaces that Lauren creates in both commercial and residential design demonstrated in homes and restaurants in New York, Vail, and Denver (where she currently resides).""
