Waiting to Go Out, LED Lightbox 47" X 60" - Mixed Media
$ On Inquiry
Featured in Artspace Magazine as one of the Top 10 Artworks We Chose For Our Zoom Backdrops, “Waiting to Go Out” is a hybrid of photography and light sculpture. Catapulting the viewer into a fantastical world, this 47” X 60” LED Lightbox turns on and of with a switch. In Palm Springs, amidst a collection of fine art and midcentury modern furntiture and accessories, this collage mirror its environment and adds a layer of dimension, akin to the looking glass in Alice in Wonderland.
Artspace Magazine writes, "the title of this piece is very much on the nose but what makes it truly worthy of a Zoom backdrop is the optics of depth and the fantastical interior. Also, I love the idea of having two fashionable and friendly faces on either side of you during a call–lest we forget, the gorgeous Irish Setter in the foreground."
This work is an edition of 5, each piece created in a custom size selected by the client.
