Abstract Photography & Abstract Paintings in Large Formats

Minimal abstract painting & abstract photography by the LA based artist are available as original large scale artworks. Medium format photo-based prints & printmaking are available as series in many sizes and materials by commission.

Scott Woodward Meyers studied photography and printmaking at the University of Washington, School of Art In Seattle. Meyers' work is represented in corporate collections in Europe and private collections worldwide, it is often acquired in series or commissioned. In 2016 he returned to the USA and is currently working from his studio in Los Angeles.

His artworks reflect ephemeral impressions discovered through travel and simple, evocative forms, layers of associations, fragments and meaning. The rhythm of the images is inspired by concrete reduction, modern poetry, prose fragments and personal observations from nature and urban landscapes.
