The Circus

Inspired by a sad circus in northern Paris along a dusty highway; by the Zampano Circus in the Federico Fellini’s movie "La Strada" (1954); by the black and white atmosphere of Bruce Davidson’s photos and also the Wim Wenders’s masterpiece "Wings of Desire" (1987), this piece incorporates poetry, darkness, drama, and love. The Circus / Le Cirque by French artist Laurent Chehere illustrates a sad clown, dressed as Napoleon and smoking a cigarette on the snowy roof. It can be found at Petit Ermitage.
