Archival pigment print on Hahnemuehle FineArt Baryta Paper.

This piece was shot on 35mm film. This photo was taken on the Pacific Coast Highway, in California.

This photo is from my "Last Golden Coast" series. “Stones of the Sky” by Pablo Neruda was my inspiration for this series. I had recently moved back to Southern California after spending several years on the East Coast. Reengaging with the terrain, I was confronted by the passage of time; the dignified vistas, desert flora and stones transformed by fire, water, wind, and time. This poetic lens graces the surreal and the serene, revealed by magnetic color.
