'Couple at the Beach', 48x60 original oil painting

Sunny and bright, Couple at the Beach was inspired by a found black and white photo from the 1940's. The composition includes a large area of colorful beach sand. Interestingly, this painting was used in the indie movie, The Face of Love, as one of Ed Harris' character's paintings in the exhibition scene.

Inspired by found photos and movie stills, T.S. Harris' paintings speak to the central issues of human existence- love and loss, impermanence and beauty and the many dimensions of out connections to others, past and present.
Raised by two professional artists, Harris’ art career began at an early age. Initially showing in her family’s gallery and then branching out into other venues, her work has since been featured in museums and galleries nationwide, book covers and magazines, and the movie, The Face of Love.
