Meet the Creator

Stephanie was born in Hawaii and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Specializing in ink and graphite portraits, she focuses on her subject's most moving element, whether its sensuality, stature, or even its simplicity. Her art distills the essence of her subjects into intricate curves and curls that at once capture the order and the chaos in all of us. Stephanie's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in New York and has been featured by Openhouse Gallery and Red Bull Curates.

Stephanie grew up in Honolulu, HI, where access to her favorite types of art was limited. She eventually moved to New York, a hub of the international art scene. She finds inspiration in a variety of artists ranging from Da Vinci to Cartier-Bresson to Rodchenko to all of the artists whose work she sees around the city each day. She's grateful to those artists, her friends, family, and New York for inspiring her on a daily basis.
