This painting was inspired by the beaches of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on the west coast of Canada. The mist in the air softened everything even as the surf rolled in on the sand.
The painting is made with hand dyed, hand painted, and marked cloth. Another layer of colour and texture is added thru the use of thread over the entire surface of the painting.
