"Took Me By Surprise" is a contemporary abstract painting with expressive strokes in blue, black and white with a little beige. The painting was just not working for a long time, and as I finally let my mind go and was caught up in the moments of listening to my favorite jazz music, this was my surprise. I stepped back and loved it. It is great for a modern or traditional home interior or office decor. This one is sold to a wonderful ongoing collector. Commissions are available to recreate the spirit of this painting.
