Intense color and texture bring to life a look at the beauty of the Aspen trees in the wild. Whites, grays and gold colors are throughout the trees, and a blue hue lurks in the background.I was able to use molding past to make realistic tree. Thus my love of nature inspired this painting. 30x46x2

Bold, textured, abstract acrylic and mixed media artwork.

I am a self taught artist that was born and raised in northern Illinois. I currently reside in Arlington, Texas. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, but spent the majority of my youth, showing and breeding Arabian horses. This led me to truly appreciate the beauty of animals and the nature that surrounds them. I started creating artwork as a business over 10 years ago now.
I use a variety of mediums including molding paste, gesso, oil, metallic, and acrylic paints on stretched canvas.
I create an expressionistic style by using brushes, sponges, spray techniques, and my hands.
My vision is to create each piece with a vibrant boldness and a heart of its own.
Abstract and mixed media are my main styles.
Thus leading to my motto, " Art makes the world a more beautiful place for those who choose to observe it" Liz Johnston.
