I can create any size “painting” made of layers of acrylic, trapped under vinyl, with incredible fiber details and free motion machine embroidery. While this particular one is not available, commissions are welcomed. This type of work is great in a private home because the details are so intriguing viewers will go closer for a better look. Creates dialogue between your guests! Also works in a commercial waiting room , so people waiting for an appointment have many details to look at!

Leisa Rich

Art Archaeologist and Experimentalist. I do original, exceptional, and one-of-a-kind, on-time.

Leisa Rich was born and raised in Canada. After decades living in the U.S., she moved back to Canada in the fall of 2020. Rich holds MFA & BFA degrees in Fiber and a BEd in Art.
Rich exhibits internationally, has work in many public collections including: Delta Airlines Inc., Emory Healthcare, Dallas Museum of Art, The Works: Atlanta, University of Texas-Pan American, University of North Texas and the Kamm Foundation, and in many private collections around the world.
Her work has been featured in several books, magazines, blogs, and on PBS.
Rich has 48 years of teaching experience in arts centers in the U.S. and Canada.
She has written for Fiber Art Now, Felt, Arts ATL, Burnaway, blogs and more, and published her first children’s book, Animal Alphabet Traveling Twisters, in 2015, and a series of How To art books about Fosshape, available on Blurb, in 2019.
