Original mixed media paintings done with photos, fabric, text, matches, etc. This is part of my Village Series. During Covid when the focus was on everyone's homes, I found myself paintings houses and villages using lots of mixed media materials.

Mixed media arist working in encaustic, ink, resin, acrylic, textile and collage.

Laura Van Horne is a mixed-media artist who works with a variety of mediums and substrates. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and moved to Seattle, WA in 1994. She studied at Pratt Fine Art Center, in Seattle, WA. Laura has participated in a number of group and solo art shows over the past 25 years. She owns Gray Sky Gallery, in the historic Pioneer District of Seattle, WA and is represented by SAM Gallery in Seattle, Third and Wall Art Group, as well as Summit Gallery in Park City, UT.
