This is a diptych - a pairing of two paintings designed to go together. This is part of the Metaphorical Relationships collection - an exploration of love and connection expressed through the inter-relationship of abstract form and space. Each piece in this series is accompanied with a love poem, written in relation to the work's title, and exploring the theme of love. In these paired paintings, the love poems speak to each other. This work is created using a multi-layered painting process using acrylic paint. It is then finished with a soft gloss varnish that creates a nice shimmer in the various lighting of the day. The work is framed in a natural Douglas Fir wood frame custom made, and wired to hang.

Bold paired artworks are a statement in any home, vibrant deep red color is striking. Comes framed in custom natural wood frame, ready to hang.

Bold, Bright, Abstract Minimalist Works Perfect for the Modern Home or Business

Kerry's artwork is uber modernist in a sense. Her work is bold and unique abstract representations of form, but these forms interplay with each other and express a type of relationship, an abstract tension, or a metaphorical mood or sense of story. She also explores human relationships and allegory through abstract figurative works that often explores the themes of relationships and alienation (often only expressed in black and white). Her works are accompanied with a poem, each written specific for the work, and adds a deeper interpretation and exploration of the artwork's theme.

Kerry received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Davis, where she studied under the New York artist, Jane Rosen. She holds an M.A. in Creative Writing and is a published poet. She has exhibited throughout the United States, including Washington D.C., Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Her works are held in private and corporate collections, internationally.
