Anyone who checks out this painting of beautiful, colorful houses that is displayed at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Mission Bay Medical Offices should know that it was done by SF-based artist Derek James Lynch. It is a new perspective looking at the fictional San Francisco topography. Derek's landscape works focus primarily on San Francisco neighborhoods, so they are somehow familiar but slightly skewed by ambiguous relationships and unsettling juxtapositions of geographic locations.
