Flux, above mentioned artwork is displayed alongside this “Kaleidoscope” painting which the title for these works is a reference to the myriad of colours that are combined in fine vertical lines to create a vibrant and buzzing curtain. Each painting of this series is quite different and Colin has used a variety of techniques, combining fluorescent paints with pens, the latter creating very faint fine lines that are carefully placed next to each other, which from a distance merges together. On closer inspection, the details are more apparent.
