We cannot cure the world with sorrows, but we can choose to live JOY. (Joseph Campbell)

Bea Garding Schubert, a German based painter, creates colourful abstract acrylic artworks. Her paintings center on songs and songtexts.

She studied Fine Art at the Braunschweig University of Art in Germany (Painting/Prof. Hermann Albert). After her Degree she travelled the world on foot for 8 years, eventually settling down in Mallorca and La Palma/Canary Islands.
Bea Garding Schubert started her international carrier in 2007.
She has exhibited her work around the globe, from New York to Beijing. The German Embassy in Athens and the Chagall Museum in Vitebsk/Belarus hold a number of her paintings, and her work is in major international collections.
I have taken a clear decision: I aim to create artworks that serve as a carrier of hope.
My work is abstract with elements of street art. Some series have figurative elements like birds, butterflies, houses. My medium is acrylics. I love the intense colour of acrylic inks, neon paint and neon oil pastels. My work is on canvas.
I am inspired by songs and song texts.
My series "Heroes” is inspired by David Bowie’s song. I am truly convinced that everybody can be a hero!
My latest series “The show must go on” is inspired by Freddie Mercury. The show is used as a symbol for life, and life is to be enjoyed.
„I am a dreamer believing in a better world”.
