"I'M NOT CRAZY" - Spray & Acrylic, 30m2, 2019
Mural painted during the Artbase festival (August 2019) that took place in Neustrelitz close to Berlin in an abandoned asylum, heavy with history, Indeed, the place hosted patients during the nazi era, as well as the soviet occupation of East Germany. I decided to paint a piece in a context, where the roof of the room was falling apart, as much as the minds of patients that were interned there. I wrote repeatedly the sentence "I'm not crazy" as I put myself in the skin of a patient that convinced himself he was sane.
