Each painting tells a story. Trena’s work reveals its deeper meaning through a connected series of smaller paintings.

“I am passionate about native plants and animals - and my paintings. I want to tell stories with my art, showing the ways all elements of nature connect to each other. I hope that everyone can recognize through my art how important it is to save the environment from those who would destroy our home. We as well as everything else on the planet are dependent on it. My paintings are unique because I leave the white background as part of the visual, contrasting it with shapes and images. This contrast creates an overall light and bright impression on the viewer.”
