Item details

The work tells a story about the San Lorenzo neighborhood where the two walls are. All the elements painted on them are references and memories about the history of that place. It’s a special work for me ‘cause my first studio was in that street.

Lucamaleonte was born in Rome in 1983, where he lives and works. Graduated from the Central Institute for Restoration, he has been active in the field of StencilArt since 2001. He came into contact with street art by making stencils on the walls of Rome, arriving in a short time at the production of more elaborate works painted on canvas. He developed a very personal style, obtaining elaborate stencils on several levels, creating images with an almost photographic rendering. He has participated, over the years in various exhibitions both in Italian galleries and abroad (United States, Australia ...), such as the Can’s Festival in London. In collaboration with Sten and Lex, Lucamaleonte is also involved in organizing events related to street art, such as the International Poster Art, an international exhibition of posters, now in its third edition.
