Meet the Creator

Leah Rosenberg is a San Francisco-based artist who works in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, installation, printmaking, and performance. Color and process play a primary role in her practice as does her selection of color–a decision both personal and informed by everyday experience. She mixes the internal and intimate with the world of received images and external encounters.

Rosenberg received a BFA from Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver, BC, in 2003 and went on to get an MFA from California College, San Francisco in 2008. She has held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art and Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California. Her works have been exhibited nationally and internationally including at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Art Moves in Poland, the Sarasota Art Center and the Golden Pavilion in Hamburg.
