The Land of WE
There is a beautiful mural at the parking area of Tonalli Studio called 'The Land of WE'. It is a portrait of Ofelia Esparza, a master altar maker who teaches the meaning and history of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Death). Its creator, Erin Yoshi, claims that the mural cherishes the wisdom that comes with age, and celebrates the knowledge that is passed down to future generations. It also celebrates the connection we have to the animal world and the environment.
