When Gorilla Spirits asked us to create a custom mural for their brand new visitors centre at the distillery we couldn’t be more excited! We began by putting together a selection of mood boards and ideas, trying to decide whether to keep it monochrome and fitting with the branding, or whether to go for a brighter approach. After going through a selection of designs and mock-ups we decided to keep it black and white, wanting something super bold and punchy to match their gorilla logo.
Working with a cherry picker and high quality paints, we executed this mural over the space of a week and couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Measuring at 2 stories high, this is definitely our biggest mural yet, and we can’t wait for the distillery to open so we can pay them another visit!
