This mural was painted for a new baby's nursery. The client’s home decor was very modern, so they wanted the mountains to be abstracted and stylized, not realistic. Muralist Toni Miraldi worked with them to design a mural that evoked the depth and thrill of a beckoning mountain range, while still being soft and gentle enough for a baby’s room. The client was especially pleased that the look was sophisticated enough to grow with her son, and not feel too baby-ish after three or four years.
Murals are priced by the square foot in the $15-$25 range, depending on level of design detail and location accessibility.
