I DO- ONE OF A KIND -
This handwoven macramé is super versatile; it can be used as a wedding altar, backdrop, or simply as an art piece for your home.
They are designed and handcrafted by fiber artist Gissell León who personally sourced, sanded, and treated the driftwood. It features three different organic cotton ropes ranging in diameters to create depth and merino wool imported from Peru. The dreamcatcher in the middle was created with a vintage crochet piece handmade by Gissell's grandmother in the 60s.
Featured in: Bridal Musings Magazine, San Diego Voyager Magazine, and Aisle Planner.

Experience the artistry and sustainability of textile creations at Gse León Art, including unique handwoven pieces and botanical fiber art.

Welcome to my cozy corner in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where the vibrant spirit of my hometown, Barranquilla, Colombia, breathes life into sustainable textile and fiber arts. My studio, founded on the belief that "Art is life, life is art," is where my passion for the environment and love for crafting unique, handcrafted art come together. Every piece I create is more than just art; it's a commitment to our planet, using recycled materials to weave vibrant colors and textures into stories

My mission is to infuse every thread and fiber with the essence of nature's beauty, creating botanical-inspired artworks that touch hearts, evoke emotions, and spark a deep connection with the natural world. Through my craft, I aim to weave moments of joy, wonder, and inspiration into the lives of others, celebrating the artistry of creation in every stitch.
