The Artquilt is absolutely unique and was made by the textile artist Daniela Witt in her studio in Leipzig.
The quilt top is made of recycled jeans trousers, some of which show signs of wear and tear, thus creating the unique characteristic of the wall hanging.
The border and the hanging were sewn by hand, the sewing together of the strips and the quilting in the seam was done with a sewing machine.
The filling is made of soya/cotton molton. The back and the border are made of cotton.
The quilt is machine washable at 30 °C. This gives it its typical "crinkle" effect.
As a decorative element in the living or working area, this quilt is an absolute eye-catcher!
